Major news for the Southern Idaho region. Facebook Meta will be breaking ground on a new $800 million dollar data center and it will be located in Kuna Idaho. This project is expected to bring about 100 operational jobs and 1200 construction jobs while its being built. It will be a 960,000 square foot data center and it is expected to break ground in September with construction expecting to wrap up in 2025. Meta will be investing 50 million in a new water and sewer system for Kuna which will be owned and operated by the city. The project is dubbed the Meta Kuna Data Center
